Testing, QA & Support Specialist (m/f/d)
— join our team.

At systaro, we build custom software for our customers — and you make sure it actually delivers what it promises. From testing and QA to direct customer support.

100% Home Office 32–40 hours / week European time zone Permanent contract German native · solid English

/About the role

In this role, you test our custom-built software before it reaches the customer — and you're also the first point of contact when questions come up later. Two perspectives on the same product: catching issues early in QA, and helping users when something doesn't behave as expected in the wild.

What you'll do

  • Handle ticketsYou take requests, analyze them, and either solve them yourself or hand them off to the dev team in a structured way.
  • Keep UX in mindYou spot when a question is really a UX issue — and push improvements all the way into the product.
  • Onboarding & trainingYou guide new customers through our applications and run online training sessions.
  • Maintain documentationFAQs, knowledge articles, release notes — you keep our knowledge base current and easy to read.
  • Close the feedback loopYou bring customer voices into the team and turn requests into real product improvements.
  • Testing & QAYou test new features of our custom software before they go live — and verify bug fixes so nobody trips over the same issue twice.

Your day-to-day

On standup days a shared start, then straight into tickets. Throughout the day: an onboarding call with new customers, a sparring session with a developer about a UX detail, a knowledge article that needs polish. No two days are the same — and around it all, real control over your time.

Mon · Wed · Fri 08:15 – 09:00Team standup — a shared start to the day.
Daily 10:00 – 15:00Available for meetings, syncs and questions.
Otherwise FlexibleArrange your hours freely — Mon–Fri, European time zone.

We track our time — so you take vacation down to the minute. No rigid daily quota, just real flexibility for work and time off.

/Your profile

We're looking for someone who doesn't just use technology but actually understands it — and who knows that great support is more than ticket triage. By the way: whether you have a degree or taught yourself everything — we care about what you can do, not what's on your diploma.

  • Tech-savvyYou feel at home with web applications, browser tools, and data structures. JSON, logs, and URL parameters don't scare you.
  • UX senseYou recognize good (and bad) UX — and can put it into words. Hands-on experience with wireframes or Figma is a plus.
  • Web-app experienceYou've worked in a software environment before — in support, QA, as a power user, or in customer success.
  • LanguagesYou're a native German speaker (or near-native) and communicate confidently in English — in tickets, calls, and across the team.
  • Structured workingYou document cleanly, prioritize independently, and keep an overview even when juggling many topics in parallel.
  • Remote mindsetYou enjoy working independently from home, communicate proactively, and don't need someone looking over your shoulder to deliver.
